Raja Ampat liveaboard route

9 posts
  1. Hey! Planning a trip to Raja Ampat right now but struggling to decide which route to do. It seems there are quite a few doing the central area, some doing mostly Misool with a few days of central and some do the central and north area.

Im looking to do a 10+ day liveaboard in jan/feb 2019.

Anyone who have done a few trips there (or more) that could shine some light on where you thought the best diving was, and why it was better there than other places.

Ill be heavily focused on the camera so places that make for great video/photo opportunities are what Im after.

    Cheers!

  2. I've done all of them including Triton Bay.

They are all good and your time choice is also good.

    !

  3. I liked the Misool area the best I would maximize exposure to that area.

  4. Ended up booking a 14 day liveaboard from sorong to triton bay :)

What about Misool eco resort? Have you tried there? I am considering between liveaborad and misool eco resort..

I looked at it but for the price you are better off with a liveaboard imo.
