  1. Kelp and Sunrays with Fuji S2 and ambient light

    Hello,

I spent Labor Day out at Santa Barbara Is. (Channel Islands, CA) and made my first attempt at capturing sunrays through the kelp. Used the 18-35mm lens and ambient light. I had the 12-24DX with me but wanted a lens that could also be use on smaller subjects if something presented itself (which it didn't).

It was one of those beautiful days with flat seas and good visability.

    Thanks for any comments,

    John

  2. Here's another one...

  3. I like the second one. You did a nice job capturing the sunrays but the first one is a little dark for my taste.

  4. I'm with Larry, the first is a little dark, but the second is great.

  5. I like the first one, go figure. Maybe if you cropped out a bit of the black area. The second one is also nice, like a big jungle.

  6. I also really like the first shot.

Maybe it's because mine would have come out like that too...
