Hi all, I am editing the first set of clips from my trip to Guadalupe Island using my new Panasonic GH5, and have run into a problem. Some of the clips have what appears to be a "watermark" at the beginning of the clip which looks like an interrupted circle with an arrowhead, that is it looks like an arrow curved into a circle. I don't always see it in the my editing software (Pinnacle Studio 22 Ultimate), but it shows up fleetingly when I burn a test disc. I assume that this is supposed to be telling me something, but I don't know what. So, how do I find these and edit them out? Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like you are describing a buffering symbol.

Dust speckle on the sensor. I have had the same issue...

Thanks, I suspect that ChrisRoss is right - buffering symbol would make sense. Now, I just need to figure out how to find them and remove them all.
I will see if I can get a screen shot.

I don't think buffering gets recorded. If you run out of buffer memory the card stops recording. This is likely just a temporary issue with your computer not able to process the bitrate fast enough
What is your recording format? And what is the editing format and disk speed?
If this was something on the original clip you would see it when you play on the camera LCD
