How-to eliminate scratches where the main o-ring makes...

...the seal with the housing back?

In particular for Aquatica housings.

I have a couple of scratches running +- perpendicular [which are likely to compromise the seal] to where the main o-ring sits, anyone had the same problem and was able to fix it without going through the process of re-anodizing the whole thing?
