Is that... guts of a land strobe relocated into a GoPro housing? Doesn't look like it will provide much output.

That is a strobe module from old digital cameras, about 10-12 GN

Don't really see the point; if you want a small. weak, cheap strobe then you can get an Intova PX21 (GN12) for $72.15 on Amazon.
