What housing to get?

I already have a digital rebel but see the ikelite housing is around 1200$. Is there a cheap alternative or should I stick with this housing. I only use the camera a couple times a year to dive and wanted strobes also. I can only afford the housing for now if I go this route.

What do you think?

As far as I know Ikelite has the lowest cost housing. Don't forget to add the cost of ports and other misc items.
