  1. 7-14mm F4.0 lens! If they make a nice dome, unlike their previous efforts, it can be really nice!

Looks like another one to keep people like Ike busy.

  2. Where did you find that lens?

    I only found these:

    o NEW! ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-45mm (28-90mm) f3.5-5.6 (from November 2004)

    o NEW! ZUIKO DIGITAL 40-150mm (80-300mm) f3.5-4.5 (from November 2004)

    o ZUIKO DIGITAL 14-54mm (28-108mm) f2.8-3.5

    o ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 50-200mm (100-400mm) f2.8-3.5

    o ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 50mm (100mm) f2.0 Macro

    o ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 300mm (600mm) f2.8

    o ZUIKO DIGITAL 11-22mm (22-44mm) f2.8-3.5

    o NEW! ZUIKO DIGITAL ED 150mm (300mm) f2.0 (from October 2004)

    * Compatible with new accessories including ZUIKO DIGITAL 40-150mm (80-300mm)* lens f3.5-4.5, FL-36 external flash and HLD-3 power battery holder

    Wow look at this:

A compact D-SLR with an underwater housing supplied by the camera manufacturer!

It will be good news if Olympus make a better job of the housing design than they did with the C5060/8080 units

  4. May be I'm a bit conservative, but I'm really worry about what lens port will be made by the oly...??! With the flat wide ports made to 5060 and 8080, I'm not that confident with oly...

  5. It will be interesting to learn what the Olympus housing will look like, but currently I've got greater hope for a Coolpix 8400 housing. I'm sure there will be several.

I broke my PT-020. Next time I buy a Polycarbonate housing I'll evaulate the design thoroughly.
