  1. A Tragic Day

A moment of silence to mourn the passing of the Ikelite SubStrobe 400. It has been removed from the Ikelite production line.

This reliable workhorse will be remembered by friends and family as unsurpassed in lumens, coverage, and heft.

For those unlucky enough to not have one, survivors may be seen (occasionally) on eBay, where donations may be sent to remember one a little bit closer.

    All the best, James

  2. fdog certainly is observant. The SubStrobe 400 was a champ for intensity and coverage; but its size, weight and electronics were out of step with the digital revolution............

  3. ...a successor?

Ike, any chance there's a successor on the horizon?

Sometimes you just need the horsepower. And there's no way I'm going to try and house my White Lightnings.

    All the best, James
