The Aquatica system seems to use a special connector between the pump and the valve on the housing. It also has the vacuum release on the pump not the valve, so connecting up to another pump will probably not solve the problem. The fitting on the housing body is a stop flow type quick connect, you need to insert the nipple from the valve to get any flow through it. You can tell this because they have placed the vacuum release on the pump body.
Which part broke, assume it the little nipple on the end of the pump? it looks a little fragile. What is the material? It appears to be some type of quick connect coupling, the similar looking backscatter device is a swagelok fitting. Is there any branding on the fitting on your housing? If you can find out who makes the coupling you may be able to buy pieces to replace the broken part and improve the design somewhat, but otherwise you are probably stuck shelling out for a new pump.
Don't know how long the pump you have lasted if the working life is short it may be worth switching to a different system - they all pricey unfortunately.
If you can show us what broke and where we might be able to suggest something??
