Choosing a Macro lens for a micro four third camera

I decided to do a full write up as I see a lot of confusion on this subject.

The same logic obviously apply to full frame but the lens examples would be different

the 60mm is the best macro lens for m4/3, but remember that 30mm is a lot better in blackwater dives… :-P
