8mm , well appart from a night shot showing a huge halo around the moon I haven't found a use for.

Though the images it produces are unusual to say the least.

I like the 10.5mm.

I can't get to the damnam website either.

Limited DOF was inspired by a guy called Songpol. Who's pics if posted here would wow everyone. That's why I don't tell him about this site

Nice pics. I like #2 as well. The DOF isolates the head, and I really like the colouring near the eyes.

I tried the link to your website as well, and think I've found the problem. Your link sends you to www.damnamorg/forums, you need to update the link with a period (.) between damnam and org. It works then.

#2 and #3 are both great shots. Limiting DOF is a great way to isolate the main point of interest. I have seen a lot of Japanese photographers using this technique to great effect.

On shot #2 if you could have got both the eyes and the mouth in focus it would have been killer. Maybe focusing at a point just before the eyes would have worked. At any rate, it's still a wonderful image.

Good stuff, I liked the first shot until I saw the 2nd which is fantastic. DOF effect is very cool in this shot. I like the last one but for some reason the white in the upper left is a bit distracting.

I wouldn't call these negative comments, just some thoughts.

On number one, nice colour and quite sharp but i think a steeper angle from left to right would have helped this shot. The relatively flat angle isn't as engaging as more of a diagonal would have been. Also the polyps on the bottom left are a touch distracting.

Number 2, perfect, leave as is.

Number 3. Fantastic colours and nice texture on the cucumber. I think this could benefit from a crop on the right hand side. Theres is a touch too much negative space over there. Perhaps a little more DOF also would be called for, just enough to bring out the other eye stalk.

But overall, great photos, nicely done

I think that the limited DOF works very well on image 2, which is awesome. Its an original shot - which is very hard to achieve in Lembeh.

I don't think that the limited DOF suits the subject in image 3 as much. In image 2 limited DOF makes the image, which in image 3 it is distracting. Looks like you are using about f5.6-8 here and I think that f22+ would work better on this subject.
