Ideas needed: pull-wire trigger for GoPro

  1. Any ideas on my snorkel stick, would like to take pics from below rather than topdown.

Thinking of adding a wire somehow so that I can extend the pole and remote trigger, any ideas great appreciated

  4. It is a bit difficult to visualize the snorkel stick, but assuming it is hollow, maybe you can:

Drill holes to run a nylon fishing line through each segment down to your hand, where a suitable loop or trigger can pull on the nylon line to trip the GoPro.  Nylon line is tough, flexible, and inexpensive, plus
    it does not rot and
may fray less than a braided metal wire.
Also, nylon on metal are self lubricating and will cut at the holes in the snorkel stick less than a metal line would.
This looks to be a fun project for the Holidays.

Please give your dog a cookie, it looks like it would like one.

  5. Thank you
