On saturday I couldnt get my strobe to fire. Very bad timing as I am leaving fror the following bahammas thursday. I traced the problem to the hotshoe conction. On sunday I emailed Ike about the problem. He says no problem, get it to me fast and I will get it back to you in time for your trip. On monday I overnight it to him. He got it at 3:00 on tuesday, has it fixed by 3:30 and overnights it back to me. It arived back to me today(wednesday) at 5:00. It now works good as new and there was no charge for the service or the return shipping.

So the moral of the story is that everyone should buy lots of stuff from Ike so that he can contune to provide the best service ever.
And remember that with winter coming, ike will be needing to purchase newspapers to keep warm while sleeeping on that park bench............

What convinced me to go Ikelite was a combination of the great service (quick answers to my questions) and absolutely killer product. The great support after sale has been the clincher that will keep me going Ikelite for years. Go Ike!
And I should have the new 5060 housing and strobe kit from Ryan on my doorstep this afternoon (Hope.. Hope..), so maybe a warm coat on top of it!
I am so happy with the service and support I got with the DRebel setup I wanted an Ike setup for the wife. She gets true TTL, while I have to wait! :wink:

I've used my experience with IKE as case for students studying service quality... I had heard all the stories and thought it was just hype until the day came that I urgently needed replacement for scratched domeport and Ike came thru for me. Ike and his amazing see thru aluminium rules!!!
