Canon EOS R strobe trigger?

  1. Hello, please what would you suggest to trigger INON Z330 with Canon EOS R in an Ikelite housing? What options do I have? any idea please?? :) thanks in advance!

  2. Here's one potential option:

There are a quite a few users of the Turtle trigger on this forum. Maybe worth asking for views if this appeals?

I thought Ikelite made one too?

  3. Ikelite's standard solution is probably going to be electric sync cords.   The camera should work with any optical trigger for Canon flash from DSLR but may not if Canon have done any changes.  It will probably take time for the trigger manufacturers to confirm that their solution works.

I believe the housings comes with a hotshoe/bulkhead which will allow manual triggering of your Z-330 via electric sync cords.  As far as I can tell the problem with the ikelite housing is going to be lack of an optical window for the trigger so the path of least resistance is probably Ikelite's sync cable solution.

  4. Dear All,

I hope we can get R5 next week and upload the new software for R5 /Inon Z330. and R5/ Ikelite DS series.
Please check Our blog for the news.
