  1. suggestions: land based v compact digicam

Hi i have asked a few other forums but no good answers yet.

I have my slr ... i have my 3040 in the water (i now have money slr will be in water by after xmas)

I now want a very nice and small and feature rich and quality compact digicam.

I previously looked at the casio exlim m30 or something ... and then the canon sd10 .. liked both .. the canon was my pref. as i have a canon already and like being a canon man.

Anyone got any advice or other suggestions before i go buy ahead ?

    Giles

  2. ok i have since found out there is a SD20 by canon .. 5mp .... they don't do it in black .. but the midnight blue is nice and so is the red(ish) colour.

    anyone any opinions ?

  3. Hey Giles.

If you look around the reviews at

    http://dpreview.com/ and http://www.imaging-resource.com/

and search and ask in the forums at dpreview, you are likely to get lots of answers. And unlikely to get them here, due to smaller number of users here.

I've never used any of the cams you mentioned. Don't know how compact you are looking for, but the sonys are very good too. The T1, or P150. Or the V3 if you can stand the size.
