New macro lens from Sigma
Hey guy's check this lens, look promissing, 72mm filter diameter means it will likely fit most of the current ports via extension ring.

Don't get distracted. Make the zoom gear for the 10-22mm first! ![]()
Roger that, we are sold out of these lens in my hood, the fraction of a second that we get the lens in the shop, it will be happening.
I've switched suppliers for the third time to get this lens. Always seems to be "some problem" with the order. Hope to have it soon...
I've been checking the B&H site regularly but they havn't listed it yet. Adorama has it on their site but they show it as a new item and not available as yet. Maybe in time for Santa.
Do you have this lens in stock, Jean?
Care to pm me with the price in Canada?
Thanks,
Ryan
<EDIT>I'm referring to the Sig 150hsm, which I had in the title, but wetpixel doesn't show...</EDIT>
Craig received his lens, but he's already left for Lembeh. Anyone else get theirs yet?
Sincerely,
James Wiseman
Hey Ryan, got them in, the price is 1019.99 $ Canadian and Blake from Aquatica is hard at work on the zoom gear, shipping for this should be quite soon, played around with the Sigma 150mm Macro, man this is going in my christmas sock, wath a cool lens, smooth internal focus smooth, the lens is constant in size allowing for optimum port placement, Hooga ! this focusing gear should be available soon also
Ryan, correction, the price of the 150mm macro lens is 959.99 $ Canadian and it is in stock, the 10-22 Canon is 1019.99 $ Canadian.
Regards
Might be dumb question but... will this fit in Aquatica's standard flat port or do you need the 105mm extension? I have D100 housing, thanks.
The standard macro port should be a shoe in and my hunch is there is already a suitable extension ring available, the lens is not that much bigger than the AF 105mm Nikkor or 100mm Canon Macro lens. Give me a few days and I will get Blake or myself to set it up in a macro port, question is time, there is so many project going on at the same time and we just got the 10-22mm from Canon and this one as a very high demand item. but I will get to it soon since I am really looking into getting one from myself.
Cheers
