  1. Oly 5050 and fotos taken in RAW format

After I downloaded my fotos that were in RAW format on my Mac (with OS X) they were unreadable on iPhoto and Photoshop Elements. I do not have the disk that came with the camera nor the full version of Photoshop. Please send advise ASAP, as I want to see my pics before I get back in the water again on Sunday.

Also when I set my card up yesterday it would not let me select Tiff. Any ideas why?

  2. Thanks Peter... will look into the newer Elements. I was hoping to download something right away to see the images before tomorrow.

What does everyone out there shoot on? SHQ? What is the real difference in quality between TIFF and SHQ?

My guess is most beginners shoot SHQ, advanced shoot RAW, and no one shoots TIFF.

Any TIFF shooters out there want to take exception to my guess? And if yes, how about telling us why?

  4. I currently shoot SHQ, but I am switching over to RAW now that I have PSE 3.0. I need to get a larger media card though.

  5. I am back to reply that I have found Graphic Converter which converted my fotos taken in RAW format. It was a one by one deal and I will go back to using SHQ.

Asrti: what is PSE 3.0 ?
