It looks like a neat product, but you'd have to route the control connection through the bulkheads and power the unit somehow. Might require significant custom work.

I think that "digisnap mark" posted here on Wetpixel a few times about his ideas for underwater photography. It may have been a few years ago though. You should drop him a line.
We used a high resolution digital camera on the Sonsub ROV this summer to take photos of the pipeline flex joints after the big Hurrican Ivan went past. I wonder if it was a similar setup.

James Watt has a setup that just uses a laptop computer, on the boat, with usb down to the camera. Guess he had a special bulkhead connector put in for it. Allows full remote via whatever downloader/remote software you have.
