  1. Sunpak G-flash

    Hello all - first post,

I am thinking of a Sunpak G-flash slave strobe ( $ 180 ) to be used with Oly C 5000 and PT-019. Eons ago, I used a Sunpak with Nikonos system and was happy with it ( in manual mode, not slave ). Anyone with any experience with the G-flash ??

  2. My wife uses a G-Flash with her Canon-S50 in a Canon housing. She gets good color when she gets close enough to the subject. A wide angle lens is on order. [/b]

Thanks Bob for your reply. Perhaps you know the answer to my main concern. I will have to use this strobe in slave mode only and I am wondering about the sensitivity and effectiveness of the slave sensor. In other words what is the max distance that the "bounced light" from a diver trigger the sensor ? Do you think it will work at a distance of say 6-8 ft. in 40 ft. vis. ??
