Sigma 12-24 in Ike port?

Thats the question!!!

Somebody know if there are a port for the new 12-24mm sigma lens?

It´s cheaper than the Nikkor one, and not bad lens!

Thanks!

From Ikelite's site the answer is apparently no for the Sigma 12-24mm 1:4.5-5.6 DG HSM.

Perhaps the lens is too big in diameter. Will have to see what Ike says for the real answer.

I know the info from the web site.... but Ikelite tell no have port for the 105 sigma few weeks ago and now they have....

Sigma 12-24mm did not work right because of its diameter.

Ok! Thatnk´s Ike.

The Nikon 12-24mm is a great alternative though. I have one in an Ike port and I love it.

On the other hand I did all my wide angle shooting in Cozumel with the 15mm FE last time and liked it. If you are on a budget I'd reccomend this one first. The close focus capability is awesome.
