I can't stomach paying $38 for quantity 6 o-rings.
Thanks,

The O Ring Store sells all kinds of O rings at a most reasonable price, with immediate shipping. The BUNA Duro 70 O-rings work well underwater. You might want to use a digital micrometer caliper to measure the existing O ring. Here are two links:
The inner diameter and thickness are used to specify an O ring. However, fiber optic cords use a 7 mm outer diameter ring, so it is the corresponding inner diameter that should be measured and used to buy a replacement.
Thanks.
My measurements were OD = 6.86 (as you say, 7mm) and a thickness of 1.42mm (likely 1.5mm) and a ID of 4.12mm (likely 4mm). Those all add up if you round them off for my measurement errors. ID + 2 * Thickness = OD (i.e., 4mm + 2 * 1.5mm = 7mm).
I'll try ordering a dozen (minimum order) of the 1.5mm x 4mm o-rings to see if those work and will report back after I get them and test.
I recently replaced the O-rings on my Sea&Sea fiberoptics connectors using 7mm OD, 4mm ID, 1.5mm Width O-rings. I have plugged them into various things incl. Ikelite housing, Nauticam (LX10) housing, Sea&Sea and Retra strobes, and the connection feels secure across the board.
However, I'm not sure if the connector dimensions are different between Nauticam and Sea&Sea cables.

The Nauticam cable is listed as compatible with Sea & Sea so I'm pretty sure that the o-rings I ordered with the same dimensions as the ones you mention (4mm ID, 1.5 width) will work and will save a ton of cash.
I like Nauticam products but, as other have mentioned, their prices have just gotten really insane -- even for every day stuff like 6 tiny, standard o-rings for $38.

I've used 7x4x1.5 O rings for a while. I also make my own plugs (delrin rod) and use TOSLINK fibre optic cable. TOSLINK cables are excellent - reinforcement sleeve over the fibre optic and a thick soft plastic outer. You can get a 2m cable (ie enough for 2 camera cables) for less than a fiver. UWVisions also sell a 90 degree plug kit (FIT S&S strobe adapter) for £20, which looks like it could be adapted for TOSLINK . Still cheaper than buying a curly cable!
