Canon RF Wide Angle Options - 14-35F4 vs 15-35F2.8

3 posts
  1. Does anyone have experience with the two new Canon RF wide angle zooms, the 15-35F2.8 and the 14-35F4?

Which of these would be better suited for underwater use? Either with a 230mm dome port or with the Nauticam WACP-2?

Is there any noticable difference between them underwater?

  2. Question has been asked in this thread:

probably worth following as someone posted they have plans to take the 14-35 UW soon.  I would expect the limiting factor to be corner sharpness due to dome port optics.  If you search Canon 15-35mm, you'll find some posts where people mention they have the 15-35, but no quality description apart from they are happy with it. Might be worth PM'ing them to see if they are willing to share an image with you?
