Sint Maarten Macro Life

We're really lucky here in Sint Maarten to have some great u/w macro life photography. Pedersen Cleaner shrimps are common, Spotted Cleaner shrimps a little less so but still there to be found.

They are some of may favourites to photograph and, like the Arrowcrabs, great snoot subjects.

Really nice shots Tim!  Those were some of my favorite subjects in Anilao too.  But my strobes made them look reflective whereas your snoot technique makes them seem to glow.  Well done.

Can't wait to get back to Roatan in August to try more snooting.   Love those Corkscrew Anemones too.

I know a dive site with a number of Painted Tunicates that should be good subjects.
