Hi all, I'm booked on a trip to Rowley shoals later this year, for those unfamiliar with the site it's a series of 3 sea mounts on the edge of the continental shelf, 300km offshore from Broome in Western Australia. The area is incredibly remote and reported to be quite pristine, incredible visibility and coral growth. I'm offering a berth in my cabin which is now vacant.
I'm on this boat: https://odysseyexpeditions.com.au/cruise-information/rowley-shoals/Rowley Shoals - Odyssey expiditions
I originally booked this in 2020 and it's been put off twice, but looks like it will happen this year. I have a standard cabin booked and originally my daughter was going to dive with me, but now she'll be in Spain at the time so I have one berth vacant. The company has said we will pay the 2020 price of $AU3800 per person for the trip. The dates are Nov 8-15 2022 and you really need to arrive in Broome Nov6.
The boat is not a liveaboard dive boat and the rooms don't have ensuites, there are 4 shared showers/bathrooms on the boat. Also I have been told they limit dive time to 50 minutes. You can only dive there Sept-Nov each year so places are limited and fill up quickly.
Probably mainly of interest to people based in Australia - downside is you'll have to share with me , but I expect we'll only be in the room to sleep.
