Nice wide angle option for Sony APS-C shooters, with that Zeiss colour ‘pop’, excellent performance at larger apertures, and decent close-focus ability. Angle of view: 99 degrees. Minimum focus distance: 18cm. The lens is in very good condition, with no scratches, no damage, clean optical elements, no fungus etc. Original box and lens hood included. I have had the lens firmware updated to version 02 by Zeiss Singapore (cannot be done by the user, or even Zeiss in Australia). The Zeiss website currently says about the update: “An update to firmware version 02 is available for the Touit 2.8/12 and Touit 1.8/32 lenses with E-mount. With this version, the lenses also support phase detection autofocus and the fast hybrid autofocus of newer Sony E-mount cameras.”
