  1. Shark Week in Palau

    Hi all,

I run the imaging department located at the Fish 'n Fins dive shop in Palau. For those of you having dived Palau in the past you'll know how incredibly diverse the diving is here. We also have one thing so lacking in many other dive destinations, Sharks.....plenty of sharks!!

We'll be running our annual SharkWeek event in February 2005. This event lasts for the best part of 1 week and sees the presence of some of the leading scientists in shark behavior. This year we have Dr. Phillip Lobell, one of the worlds leading shark experts. We also have Greg Marshall from National Geographic TV and the inventor of the "Critter Cam". We'll also have a pro photographer, David Doubilet was last years photographic celebrity, on hand to discuss photographic techniques for snapping sharks. Nightly seminars and plenty of diving will be the order of the day. A great way for photographers to develop their skills and mix with like minded people to relax and swap stories and continue learning about photographic techniques etc.
