I am getting a Sealux housing for my Nikon D70. I plan to use it with a 60mm Macro and the 12-24mm zoom. I have been recommended two lighting solutions:
1. Sealux-housed SB700 flash (TTL)
2. INON 220-s (Manual)
What would you choose? (I will be asking Sealux to fit two flash ports on the housing although initially I plan to purchase just one strobe.)
Thanks in advance
Hi,
The Sealux housed SB800 (get the 800, as there is no 700 model) will be just sufficient for use with the 60mm. It will be inadequate for use with the 12-24DX.
For the Inon, I would recommend getting the 220, not the "s" model. That way you can use it with just about any camera in any configuration (slave, wired, etc).
