I visited Sudan earlier this year.

Now I hear that "all" dive operators will shut down at the end of the year because of the problems in the western parts of the country (UN sanctions).

apete: nice shoots form Sudan too it;s the end of the season now and they will reopen in march. it's due to bad wether conditions

I thought the real low season in Sudan was the summer (too hot).

A dive travel agency that I have close relations with claims that (all) the dive operators he does business with in Sudan are about to shut down, and wont open again until things have calmed down.
