WTB: SUBAL ZOOM GEAR for Nikon 28-70-mm f3.5-4.5 D lens

I may have a gear that works-not a subal

You can use those flexible cheap adjustable gears off eBay for many lens have you tried those?

I got a bunch of Gears from Terry Schuler (1/2 owner of ultralite arms)  long ago.

What is the lens diameter exactly on the rubber zoom part?A caliber will aid in this measurement

Also another option with a cad program you can now make for very cheap these rings-I have friend with that program and with the specs you send them off and for about 30 you get the gears back that work fine.

My 17-35 subal gear may work as well as my 16-35 both have zoom rings

I can look from there. Is your subal port a older zoom knob onside of port or something else .

I'm close to selling out of all things Subal ( a D300 housing and a d800 housing and most ports and gears and a zillion extension rings)as I switched to Nauticam in past few months-I do have a  Nauticalm to subal adaptor so I can still use some subal items
