I am about to buy an underwater housing for an Olympus Tough TG-6 camera. As there are several makes, if you have an opinion on which make of housing you prefer, please let me know. Many thanks.

I have the both the Olympus PT-059 and the Nauticam housings for the TG6. The Nauticam is way more expensive (!) but the ergonomics are much better IMO. The nice thing about the Olympus housing is that it works with the AOI bayonet system. I can take the wide angle wet lens off underwater with just pushing quick release and attach to bayonet mount on arm.

I have just started using the Oly housing for my TG5. I am using it on a tray mostly, but did a couple of dives without. I have to say I prefer the extra weight with the tray/arms, but using just the housing was fine once I got used to it. I find it sits very well in my hand - I wear a xs/small size apollo proflex glove, for some reference.
My friend uses the Seafrog metal housing and it's fantastic. Quite a lot more than the Oly option, but it's very nice & smaller/more streamlined, for sure. If I hadn't found the Oly for a great deal, I would have gone this way.
Whatever you decide, enjoy - I'm having a ball with it and only kinda missing my big dslr/nauticam sometimes
