Hi! I am looking for help on installing the 5510.11 extension to my old ikelite... instructions are a bit confusing i'm wondering if i can get a bit more guidance on how to properly instal it as it looks different than my other extension. Thanks in advance!

Not really clear on what the problem is - the pic looks like it is installed. BTW the HEIC files only open on Apple systems, it would be better to load up a jpeg file.

Note I said looks like , I think if you can install all of the four lock sliders and the rim of the port just above the o-rings is sitting evenly all the way around on the housing with minimal gap it is installed correctly. The picture doesn't really show enough to be definitive you have it installed correctly.
So again if you can say what your concern is this will help work out if you have a problem. It should install to a similar depth to your port. If you have a vacuum system and you can pull and hold a vacuum that is also a good indicator.
