Possible to use Nikon 105mm with Nauticam Macro port 94

Hi i have Nikon D850, been shooting with Wide all this time, i would like to try out macro, i have Nikon 105mm, i know i should use Nauticam Macro 86 port for this Nikon lense, however what is available here is the use nauticam macro port 94 and ordering the 86 takes couple of weeks and i need to shoot very soon already. Any one in the forum experience use the Nikon 105mm macro with the 94 macro port? any comments will be much appreciated.

if the port is a bit longer it will work, you will just lose working distance and a wet diopter won't work as well.  It looks like the port is only 8mm longer.  if it works an focuses on land it will work fine for you.

For your information, it will also works with the the 60 macro port and the 20mm extension.

Thanks Chris, i'd better wait for the proper macro port 87 i think, it's not worth to buy the longer port and experiment with the risk of not being able to use the diopter (which i might need for a super macro)

Thanks Jos for the info, the 60 macro port and the 20mm extension is also pre-oder and requires about a month time to oder. so i might go with port 87 or 60mm port + 20mm extension.

I prefer the 60mm Nikkor for mscro, rather than the 105mm,  as one can get considerably closer to the subject, avoiding water light interference and loss of detail. 

Hi, do you use any close up lens with the 60mm (wet or dry)?

I don't do black water, but everytime I use the 60mm I end up wishing for magnification....
