TTL with DS50 and DS125
Have anyone tried to connect both a DS-50 and DS-125 together with a TTL Ike housing at the same time?? Will they give the same amount of light as they both recieve TTL signal from one camera. Need help!!

No reason it shouldn't work and others have done it and been happy with the results.
But I have no personal experience so what you now need is a testimonial.
In the meantime, you can try it in a dimly lit room to make sure you have all the settings correct .. basically strobes set to TTL and camera set to external flash only if you have an Oly camera.

i think he is trying to ask if it would give equal output... in situations where the metered exposure is within the range of both strobes, that is apparent, but how about situations where the metered exposure required actually is more than "perform-able"by ds50?
(something that i am wondering as well) hee

U exactly got what I mean to ask!! Ha Ha Ha!!
The situation now I'm facing is that I wanna use dual strobe with one DS-50 and one DS-125, but am wondering if they will give out the same amount of light in case that the DS-125 is having a higher GN than the DS-50...So what will it be??
They will not give the same amount of light, but the right total exposure.
The ratio of lighting will be set by the guide number difference, (which is not that much, since the extra power of the ds125 goes primarily into extra beam width), and the distance from subject.
You can move the 50 back further, or up closer, to get the main/fill lighting effects you want.
I've done this with an SS50 and an SS200, but the principle is the same.

It's best not to mix strobes. I have done it and really prefer two of the same. Many other pros have touted the same thing, although that was with film systems. Digi probably offers that edge (no, not the brick) you need to effectively use different strobes because you can obviously see what you are doing. However, if budget is your concern and you can't afford another toy, you might try using a diffuser with the DS50. That should just about make the output close to the DS125 (in terms of angle=, distance and intensity).

hmmm.. though i dun have a strobe yet ..... i think there is still a difference.
even with diffuser ds50 will not match in terms of angle, as it is 70 without diffuser, with diffuser probably about 80, which ds125 is 110.
in terms of output.. diffuser doesnt strengthen the output. in fact, it probably cuts by half a stop at least, isnt it?
and, having one strobe and two strobes are different as in even exposure, creative lighting, strobe placement etc.
i think i understand where Rin is coming from, cos i had the same idea  i would think one ds50 and one ds125 is pretty ok, though two ds125s of course would have a different impact. i havent tried it though (not even one strobe!) but just my reasoning
