Pair of Original Retra Strobes & Light Shaping Device

I have two original Retra strobes for sale. They are in very good condition and never been flooded. They come with (2) protective rings, (2) wide angle diffusers, (2) white diffusers and (2) wide angle diffuser domes. Asking $1100.00. Located in New Jersey. I also have a Retra light shaping device for the original Retra strobes for sale. It is like new and has only been used once. It comes with the standard mask set. Asking $150.00.

Hi

Retra LSD can be use on Retra Pro strobe ?

Hi, this LSD is compatible only with Original Retra Flash and although it can be mounted to the new strobes it will not work well on the Pro/Pro X/Prime/Prime X models, a dark spot will appear in the center of the beam. However the Mounting module can be exchanged and you may get it here: https://www.retra-uwt.com/products/mounting-module-for-retra-flash

Is anything available that describes the evolutions?  If one buys the "original", what are the adds / subtracts from the current version(s)?

In short we can add everything except the bayonet mount for the accessories which stayed the same on all versions. Original is 1st generation, we are currently on the 4th generation. Please send us an email and we can take it from there: help@retra-uwt.com

Thank you

There was a comparison table on the Retra website, but it seems to be superseded by a spec page for upcoming 4th generation. Fortunately Wayback Machine has it archived: http://web.archive.org/web/20210515111950/https://www.retra-uwt.com/pages/retra-flash
