Inon wet lenses are designed to be mounted directly on the port. When used with a Nauticam Flip Diopter Holder, the lens is further from the port than the lens is designed for. However there is a Inon adapter that allows the lens to be mounted closer to the port when using the Nauticam Flip Diopter Holder.
I'm looking to purchase the Inon UCL67 for use with a Nauticam Flip Diopter Holder but my local Inon supplier does not have the Inon adapter. Does anyone know how critical the adapter is? What happens when the Inon UCL67 is mounted on a Nauticam Flip Diopter Holder without the adapter?
