Ikelite iTTL

Has there been anymore rumors about the iTTL upgrade?

I would think that now that TTL is done for the Cannon's, that the Nikon people would finally get there much needed love. However, I haven't heard a peep about it.

The iTTL conversion circuitry remains top priority for Ikelite knowledgeable types.............

I have also ordered additional darts for his dart board. The word is he is getting close, but this has proven to be a complicated little puppy. And what works on the D70 does not work on Coolpix 8400 and 8800 models. Verreey frustrating............

Have you guys ever just asked any of the manufacturers for the specs? You'd think some of them would realize that having underwater strobe compatibility would be good, and not something they ever wanted to do for themselves... Just sign a non compete, and non disclosure agreement...

Maybe Sony would be more reasonable.?

Exactly what is the difference between ittl and dttl? How does that force me to change systems? What is the selling point?

We tried years ago. I was kidding on checking now. We will figure it out now that we are this close. We are too small and sell too few strobes to bother the big companies............

When it comes to being open minded and "helpful" manufactures ... I guess Sony is the last one sharing useful information. Completed by a product philosophy making everything incompatible when smelling a third party could become involved into accessory and add-on business.

Or is someone believing in MicroMV or still has betamax video tapes?
