I have an option to buy one in good price but I can't find any information on it, not for land photography and sure not for u/w use.
In Ike port's list is writingthat it will need the #5505.58 flat port, is it possible to use also a dome port as in the Nikkor 60?
Another issue, is it have 1:1 magnification or only 1:2 ?
thanks for any information.

Hi,
I have shot a fair bit with this lens both U/W and topsides.
It is a nice lens, well built and good picture quality, especially given that it's very reasonably priced. Mag. ratio is 1:1.
Some u/w shots using this lens and a Nikon F80 in a Hugy housing can be found at http://www.ahomaki.net

Thank's Timo,
In your site you wrote you use the Tamron SP 90mm/f2.8 not the Sigma.
btw. In the searches I done in the net there are a lot of mishmash between them.

So true!
I just saw the 90mm and SP in your message and obviously skipped the Sigma part
Consider the above invalid then.

I did not know that Sigma made a 90mm? You learn something new every day.
Most people that use a 90mm macro lens use the Tamron SP90 and seem to be very happy with it.

Hola
I imagine you are talking about Sigma 90mm 2.8... This is an old lens I used several years ago with an F-90 and a F-100 Nikon. It's only 1:2 and AF is rather slow... Nevertheless, I love this lens since it is a good and useful lens for fish pics when diving in the Mediterranean (not very clean waters very often and small fishes...), but not for macro.
Hope it helps

I had this lens for many years ( Canon mount ) It focussed down to 1:2 but it came with an attachable close up lens that allowed 1:1. The lens is very sharp and its quality was obviously recognised by Sea and Sea as they made, and still make, focus rings for this lens for their Canon SLR film housings. As mentioned it is a bit slower to focus and quite noisy.
