Olympus PT-023 and Ikelite 100A strobe marriage???

  1. Olympus PT-023 and Ikelite 100A strobe marriage???

    I have an Olympus C-8080 camera and a PT-023 housing. I’m very satisfied with the setup except that the in-built flash is not strong enough except at close range and the design causes a cutoff of the light at the bottom of the frame when at wide angles.

     

    I have a very nice Ikelite 100A substrobe that has a TTL setting. I used it with an Ikelite housing for a Minolta 7000i camera and got good results with film.

     

    My question is: Does anybody know if it would be possible, by use of adapters or whatever for the cord fittings to use the 100A strobe with the PT-023 housing?

    Look at www.mike-dive.de

    He has TTL- adapters for the pt-023 housing connecting to most types of strobes.
