I am considering an oly 8080 with their housing. Is this a good all around combination for someone who is not a pro. I want to shoot some macro as well as some shark pics and fish pics?

The 8080 has very poor low light autofocus, and the worst final shutter lag of any current high end camera.
Nice image quality for sure.

Most people who have tried all the olympus' have said that the 5060 is better over the 8080. I think most people who have bought the 8080 and expressed an opinion is that the camera is all about megapixels and not camera quality or image quality. I don't imagine the image or the camera is bad, it's just why have 8mp if the camera doesn't match in quality. the 5060 is def a nice camera and there has to be a reason why they keep it around even after bringing out the 8080. I have decided that 5-6 mp is more than enough for me. I have had 3mp images published in magazines they come out fine, I have even had them printed 20x30 and they look fine. I am sure if you want to get picky you can notice it is digital, but why get picky, the largest print size I have ever bought frmo a print shop came out perfect from a 5 mp camera.
I am sure there is a great arguement for more megapixels on a more expensive dsrl .. but for most of use 5-6 is plenty IMO.
