Ikelite housing for Fuji S2 Pro

7 posts
  1. I am looking for a seller of the Ikelite housing for the Fuji S2 Pro camera in the UK.

The only one i have found so far is asking for £1249, which compares to £1300 listed on the US Ikelite website. Which seems a rather high profit margin for the UK retailer.

Does anyone know who can supply the housing in the UK other than 'Camera Underwater' ?:P

  2. I can't find someone in the US that will sell the housing, good luck in the UK.

  3. A bunch of people have bought the Ikelite S2pro housing in the US - Is it that hard to get???? Can't say much about the UK.

I can say that the housing wrocks though...

    Cheers

  4. James,

Who did you buy your housing from, do they do online sales?

  5. I'm having trouble believing that, in this capitalist country of ours, you can't find someone who'll call Ikelite and work it out for you . Try giving the guys at Helix a call. When I needed a new wide-angle lens, a port and special zoom gear for my Ikelite housing, I called them. It was DEMA week. Despite that fact, they were able to order my port, sell me a lens, ship it next-day-air to Ike to have the ring fitted and machined (in retrospect, I could have done the work with my Dremel tool but I had no way of knowing it at the time), then arrange for Ike to ship it next-day-air straight out to me (I needed to get this whole process taken care of in one week in order to make a last-minute trip to Socorro). Cost me more than a little in shipping charges, but I got my manta pictures. If Ike has a part number for it, Helix should be able to get it.
