Subal Dome ports

Hi,

I would like to know witch Subal port do you need for the Nikon 10.5mm DX and if you need any diopters for it. This will be my first time using Subal glass ports uw, what do you think about them?

The 10.5 Fisheye sets up the same as the 16 Fisheye 8" DP-FE2 Dome Port, No Extension Ring. No Diopter is required or possible for that matter.

I shot the 10.5 this week (thanks Kasey, got my own now . You use the DP-FE2 without any rings or diopters. I was very impressed by its performance on my D100.

How about the 12-24mm on Subal domeport? How close to the dome can you focus without a diopter?

I use the 12-24mm Nikkor in the FE housing with a 50mm extension ring. Works like a charm. I couldn't tell you the focussing distance in terms of inches: but its pretty close without a diopter.
