  1. After filling up every available bit of free storage space my three ISP's (home, office and dial-up for the road) offer, I signed up for a hosting site. Should have done it ages ago. 10 bucks a month for a gigabyte of storage and virtually unlimited access. The new address is:

    http://www.digitaldiver.net

Enjoy the new South Pacific galleries (Tahiti and Fiji). The Photo Instruction section doesn't hold much yet, but I will be adding articles to that over the next few days.

  2. For some reason, the link above doesn't work. I tried to use the fiddly little link buttons in the formatting section, but they didn't work right, and now it won't let me edit my own message.

Anyway, the address is http://www.digitaldiver.net with or without the "www".

  3. It's not your fault - it looks like the code for hyperlinking is a bit messed up Jeff. It's not closing the tag.

Also, the "edit post" feature isn't working.

Glad to see you got your own URL Jeff - very nice new galleries! I especially like the Tridacna clam pictures.

    Cheers

    James

  4. Espeacially the "Volkswagen sized fish" conquered my heart! Did you write the "Housings for Olympus C-4040 Compared" Article on your own? Why is it not on Features at Wetpixel.com?

If no one else does, I'd like to link it from digideep.com

  5. I have added a gallery of shots from my recent trip to Bonaire to my website.

If you're interested in the results of an antique digital system :P (Olympus C-4040, PT-010, 2 - YS-90DX) please enjoy.

    Here's a sample:

  6. It gets better every time I see it...

  7. Holy ***** Jeff, those are excellent!

I think I like this one the most:

How dod you ever tear yourself away from that spot?????? What is that behind the shrimp - like 30 orange ball anemones???

    Cheers

  8. This is by far my favorite. It really looks like a shot you'd see on the cover of a Chris Newbert hardcover book.

  9. You are too kind, rstark.

It is my all time favorite, too. But this trip's frogfish and grouper with goby are giving it some competition.

9 more really good shots and I can do a calendar! :P

  10. Nice shots Jeff. Really like that grouper with the goby in it's mouth.

TTL? We don't need no stinkin' TTL .

  11. Love it, Herb!

:P You design the tee shirt and I'll have 'em printed. :D

  12. Congrats on a great site and great photos. I couldnt pick out a favorite, there are so many outstanding images.

  13. Thank you, Eli. I appreciate your comment.

  14. ooooohhh.. Frogfish.... ooooooohhh.. Ribbon Eels... ooooooohhh... Clown fish...

This is what I sounded like for over half an hour while looking at your photos. Great stuff, Jeff---as always.

So where/when is the next adventure? Do I hear the Florida Keys? :P

  15. Here's a shock for you, Laz.

I want to schedule a trip for the Keys. Not "think about" not "someday we will" lets write it, in ink, on a calendar. October is fairly open for a long weekend (Thursday night depature, Monday afternoon return). What's it like then? Good conditions? Chance of getting blown out? I know that later is bad until April, which coincidentally, is my next shot at getting there. Let's take this private after this message, but by posting my intentions before the "family", I can't back out.

  16. Jeff, very nice results.........we're going to Bonaire on October 5..........your gallery makes me want to leave today!..........

Can't wait for you to update your site with your current camera settings and techniques.........
