Go dive at Sinandigan wall its a very nice place to dive you will see alot of nudibranches
You also shoulde go diving at Verde island drop off very nice wall that goes very deep and you will have all kinds of animals there from snakes to sharks.
In Anilao: Beatrice Rock for best scenery, Basura for muck/critters, Twin Rocks for a little bit of everything.
I havn't been to PG so I can't help you there.
Thanks for the recommendations. Anymore??
Anilao has a variety of dive sites. I think nothing beats it in terms of color. I would also recommend Sepok Wall and Mainit Point.

The Canyons in Puerto Galera has the fiercest currents and you will enjoy the drift dive.

Anilao has been well covered by the other responses....though Kuala is also a good site, pygmy seahorses at 95 ft. Look for the large (huge) mantis shrimp at the concrete block at Twin Rocks (any good guide will know it)
For P.G., the Drydock is a must do dive, Sabang Wrecks (3 old boats) has amazing life, 4 frogfish on the wooden junk alone, harlequin ghost pipefish etc... in the sand around the wrecks, move shallower into Sabang Bay under the 2 floating bars and you'll see more froggies, leopard garden eels, cockatoo leaf fish.
I found a Harlequin Frogfish at "The Hill" as well as mandarins. Pygmy seahorses were found at "Boulders"....see my avatar.
For food, best meal you can get anywhere in PG is at the Scubaplus Dive Center, their steaks in green peppercorn sauce is to die for..tell them Stu sent you
7 years of going to P.G. and I've rarely eaten anywhere else.
Have fun.

Re: PG, haven't been there for several years now, but the day trip to Verde Island across the channel was always nice - two very nice (and different dives there, with a different array of nudis, frogfishes, other characters. But lots of good sites right next to PG. Heavily dived, but in very good shape.
Frogfish
