This lens may be interesting to Canon users because, unlike the 10-22, it can be used on non-EFS bodies. It may also interest Nikon users because, unlike the Sigma, it is likely to be able to fit in housings made by most manufacturers (because it has a smaller diameter). It is significantly cheaper than the both Nikon and Canon's offerings and appears to be a reasonable performer, particularly when stopped down a little.
