First attempts with D70 UW

  1. Well ... I must admit that I had a hard time falling asleep last night ..... thinking

about the planned dive today (...my first D70-Ikelite attempt) worrying images

came to mind about a completely flooded housing , destroying the D70 and 60mm macro

lens in it ..... Prior to this setup I was using a Nik V, so you'll understand why I’m

    completely flood-paranoia! <_<

After the dive I'm happy to be able to say that the housing performed flawlessly !! :(

Ok, it was a bit of a hassle to get into the water with the added bulk (Dry-suit, double steel 12l, canister lamp,

slippery entry etc.... in short, typical Belgian conditions  ) and the fact that I had to manually

point the strobe didn't really help either .... but in the end I managed to get a couple

of "usable" images, and that's more than I could have asked for this first try-out ...

    Can't wait for the next dive (and the strobe-arms ... ;) )

  2. Nice first pics under "normal" conditions, but since when is the Oosterschelde in Belgium?

    Greetings,
