How sharp is a G2 in a housing

I see I can get a housing and strobe for a G2 but I have yet to see any really sharp images from this setup. Can someone point me to somewhere I can see sharp images from this set up. I don't really want to spend the money on a housing and flash then find the thing is no good. This camera is for my wife to play with and I don't feel like spending the money if the thing is unsharp. As you may realise I'm a stickler for sharp images.

Don't know what you are looking for, but I have a gallery of g2 shots, in an Ikelite housing.

The G2 produces extremely detailed images, but they are not "sharp" out of the camera. This is by design, since nearly universally, it is agreed that sharpening should be done once, last, in creating an image.
