I have a sony F828 which means I apparently only have one housing option which is to say the least not a cheap one. I am trying to decide if I should buy the housing and strobes or just buy a lesser camera that has a cheaper housing. I go diving 2 times a year and would love to expand my photography to that world but I am having trouble justifying 1300+ dollars for a housing and strobe which cost more than a week in Coz diving.
Can you get by without a several hundred dollar strobe? i.e. Dive light or just lower depths like 60 feet?
Any help is appreciated.
