Those are fantastic shots! What lens were you using? A 500mm? ![]()
I'll say - absolutely stunning. Really interesting angles too.
Thanks for the compliments guys..
I suppose with all the top side 'patterns in nature' photography I've been doing, some of it is starting to show up in my underwater work as well. Of course, I also want to capture behavior whenever its present and the angel fish with its gill flared out is one I've seen numerous times at the cleaning stations. Lady luck was finally with me this weekend and allowed me to capture it on efilm.
As for what lens I used -- why the Critter Cam, of course! ![]()
Actually it was taken with my Olympus 5050 at its max zoom (105mm).
Nice catch Laz ![]()

Laz:
Awesome shots! Just getting those shots is amazing, but getting them with the great composition is unbelievable. Was this just your "zoomed" 5050 or were you using your "stacked" lenses technique?
Doug
Thanks, Doug. Those two shots were taken with just the zoomed 5050 in macro mode. Here's a stacked macro (I believe two lenses) from that same dive to quench your stacked macro wishes... ![]()
