Rocky Point Diving?

My brother just got back from a trip to Rocky Point Mexico. He really liked the resort down there, beach etc. He didn't do any diving though.

I've read positive things about the diving, esp Bird Island. Is it any good? How about shore dives? Any good operators to recommend?

It seems like a cheap way to get the diving fix. Denver Phoenix flights are cheap.

it's okaaaayyyyy. It is just close to Arizona and convenient to get too. If you are land-locked, it's a nice place to get wet, but don't think you are going to get a bazillion unique tropical shots. I was bored after the first couple of dives.
