New Sea&Sea housing with SB105

2 posts
  1. I just got my Sea&Sea housing to my D70 but not the flash. I can't wait to take pictures with it so now I'm thinking about using the Nikonos SB105 flash and I have one question:

It looks like the screwthread on the old sync cable is much shorter then on the new onepost-3815-1114639260_thumb.jpg. Can this make it leak? Should I avoid using this cabel/flash and wait until I get the YS-90 flash?

Thanks for a really good forum! I'll guess I'll have alot of questions in the future, now when I got my new housing.

  2. That cord will work just fine. The Sea and Sea cord has a locking ring. First you plug in the bulkhead, then you screw down the retaining ring, THEN the locking ring.

The Nikonos cord only has the retaining ring, so it looks shorter.

    Cheers
